History of the Network

Our history

We would like to tell you about Japan’s Save the Ozone Network from the past to the present.

History
March 1993	Established as a volunteer group (citizens’ group) under the name Group for the Promotion of CFC Recovery.
March 1994	Changed its name to Group for Saving the Ozone.
March 1995	Reorganized as the nationwide Group for Saving the Ozone and the name was changed to Japan’s Save the Ozone Network (JASON).
December 2000	Established as Specified Non-profit Corporation Japan’s Save the Ozone Network, receiving certification under the Economic Planning Agency.
